Priest Continuing Formation Event Hosted by Archbishop Blair
In celebration of the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests

Friday, June 19 at 1:30 PM via Zoom video call

The featured speaker will be Rev. Gabriel O'Donnell, OP, who currently serves on the faculty at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC.  He also is vice postulator for the cause of canonization for our brother priest, the venerable Father Michael J. McGivney, who will soon be beatified.

Father O’Donnell will speak to us about the exemplary life and ministry of Father McGivney, which was grounded in his vocation as a diocesan priest of the Archdiocese of Hartford.   There will be an opportunity for questions following the presentation, and also remarks and announcements from Archbishop Blair.

The World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests is an annual celebration promoted by the Holy See which encourages each diocese throughout the world to offer a moment of reflection and meditation on priestly life and the pastoral ministry of priests.  It coincides with the observance of the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
